Hi All,

I want to make a key so the musician can understand what my noteheads mean (attached). How do I add the notehead symbols away from the stave?

I normally put a key in the top left-hand corner of the page.

Hopefully, somebody can help me!!

All the note heads, stems etc are only just font characters. You'll have to find out what font is being used, and then use a Font Mapper to find out what keys or combinations produce the noteheads you need. You can then just type them into place.

All of the noteheads are available as Symbols.
