How do I create a triplet out of a minimum and a crotchet in a 2/4 bar without using 3 crotchets and linking the first two crotchets.
Version of full Sibelius downloaded in 2019 running on a mac with OS X 10.11.6

[This is how I'd do it in Sibelius 7,5. Hopefully will also work in 2019 version]
Enter the first note as a crotchet, press Ctrl (Cmd) 3 to create the triplet. Use the keypad to make the last crotchet rest a note, and turn the first crotchet into a minim by selecting it and pressing the minim symbol on the keypad.

How do you input accents, umlauts etc into a title?
The very simple method of achieving this function in lyrics does not work with Titles

If you are on Windows, you can use Character Map to paste diacritics into titles. You can also use the rt-click menu (rt-click with your title object open).
