Want to tie two notes in the treble clef. I can do the tie. The stems in the two notes go upwards so I would like the tie to go across the tops of these two stems like you see in most music. However, Sibelius puts the tie goes across the bottom of the note. If I hit "X" it just flips the tie but it is still attached to the bottom of the note. If I use the up arrow key the height of the tie gets taller but it doesn't move it to the top of the stem. How do I fix this?

In 50 years of music making, I have never seen a tie go across the tops of the stems. Are you sure it isn't a slur?
