Sibelius 7 won't run on new machine

Hi
I installed Sibelius 7.1.3 on a Windows 10 laptop.
Whenever I try to run it, a dialogue appears referring to updates.
A check shows that I am using the latest version.
But every time I try to run Sib 7 this dialogue reappears and no matter which option I choose
Sibelius 7 fails to open.
Any pointer would be gratefully received.

Please take a screenshot of the message so we can see the exzct wording and any error code.

Hi
There is no error code, simply an error,
by which the same choices come up time after time on a pop-up screen in an endless loop;
- do you want to check for updates
- reminder in 90 days
- never
Regardless of which choice is made Sibelius 7 stops loading.

I had the same problem on a previous Windows 10 machine. I had purchased Sibelius and it was supposed to let me install on two devices (this would have been the second). I ended up just purchasing a new copy.

I bought mine from a re-seller in St Andrews, Scotland, but that was several years ago now.
Is buying a new copy possible still, or is it all subscription now?

You can buy a copy off of ebay, or just look up sibelius 7 on Google and then click the "shopping" tab to find sellers.

Yes, but do you know you are getting both licences?
