deleting or hiding rests

Piano. Two voice, first LH note then RH note, LH, RH, LH, RH, etc. With the voice that isn't being played there is a rest and sometime it is put under the played note. Can I hide these rests? I tried all suggested ideas on forums and they didn't work. Using Sib 7.5.

Use Home-->Filters-->Advanced and filter for rests in voice 2. Press [ctrl][shift]h

Didn't work. Highlighted some notes but nothing changed with the rests.

It should also have highlighted any rests in voice 2.
Can you send me the file? (
mike@mike-lyons.co.uk) it's easier to work out the issue rathern than all the 12-hours out of sync back and forth.

I should have been more specific. It did hide the rests. However, when I went to do the 2nd voice notes started to be deleted? That's when I gave up.

Some thoughts.
Do you need two voices?
You can delete some rests. Select the rest, delete. Rest turns gray. Repeat, rests is deleted.
