As a newbie I am annoyed by the slurs that attach themselves, magnetically, to the beams of tied quavers, rather than the actual note head. Is there a way to alter this so the slur is attracted to the note head rather than the beam?

It would make my work, much more professional looking.
Thanks

Try selecting the slur and pressing x.

Erm - no they don't. Just tried it on sib 2020.3 and the slur stays below the tie at the head end. - or above if the notes are upside down. You must have changed something about the slur behaviour or altered one of the (many) settings to cause this.

What happens if you select the whole bar and press [ctrl][shift]p (Reset position) and [ctrl][shift]d (Reset design)?
