Import Musicxml colour information

Sibelius beginners can discuss all things Sibelius here ("how do I...?").

Hi,

For some project, I need to visualize musicxml files containing harmony tags with a colour attribute.
However, it seems that Sibelius does not import the colour attribute.
For instance, my version of Sibelius displays the chord symbol Cmaj7 in black, despite the fact that it has a color attribute set to red ("#CC0000" in the mxml file). I can't attach the example file I'm talking about because the forum doesn't allow mxml files to be attached, so here is a google drive link: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1Ii9vYR ... sp=sharing

So, I was wondering if this is because I am using the First (free) version of the software (which could definitely be a reason for me to upgrade), or is it a not implemented in Sibelius?

Thanks!

First is basically rubbish - I could use better words!

The only version worth getting is Sibelius Ultimate. Even the basic Sibelius is so cut down as to make it almost worthless. You could probably do more with the free Musescore 3!

However, I'm not sure that even Ultimate will import the colour attributes. You may simply have to colour things yourself in teh Sibelius score.

This is a question for the official Sibelius chat pages rather than here.
