Would a Sibelius 7.x run on an iPad - software version 14.4 - 6th generation? If so, can it be downloaded without using the original disc?
I don't know anything about Macs, but I know that Mojave is the latest Mac OS that will run Sib 7.x.
If you have a legit copy of Sibelius, you can download the installation files from your MyAvid account.

Thanks for the info Mike. Does Sibelius 7.x run on Windows 7 for PC? If so, is working with Sibelius 7 on Windows a lot different than working with it on a Mac?
Hi. I am still running Sib 6 on my fairly new (1 year old) Windows laptop with no issues. I also run Sib 7.5 and Sib 2021.2.
The only difference is in the keybaord shortcuts. Mac uses [opt], Win uses [alt]. Mac uses [cmd], Win uses [ctrl]. In almost every other respect Sibelius is exactly the same and the sib files are absolutely compatible with both versions.

To double confirm what Mike said, I have 6.2.888 and 7.1.3 working on Windows 7 on two computers. It will work on Windows 10, even though it's not supported.
Some of my Students have had Windows PCs at home and Macs at college - they've have no problems swapping from one to another and, of course, files created on on O/S work perfectly on the other.
