Hi guys, I'm completely new to Sibelius.

I just wanted a way to let Sibelius play synced with Protools, in order to follow the bars and the chords notation.

I tried sending the score to sibelius from PT and pressing play, but the playback is independent among the two platforms. Is it possible to do that?

Sorry for my super-basic question

In Windows, you would use Rewire to sync the two. No idea what you'd use on a Mac. It's not super basic. Syncing Sibelius with a DAW is actually high level stuff. Maybe you could read the manual: In my manual, the chapter on Rewire is 6:17.

I do exactly this on the Mac platform. I sync via rewire, but be warned, Sibelius’ implementation of MTC over rewire is horrible! Lots of rhythmic mistakes, false starts, etc. This is a major bug which Avid does not seem bothered by.....
