Hello, I'm new to Sibelius, and I'm new to this forum, so please excuse any faux pas. I am trying to engrave a guitar piece which includes open string voicing chords that have doubled notes (same note played on two strings). I was trying to use different voices to be able to engrave this on the same staff, and have some luck, but I'm running into situations where I'm performing all sorts of operations to get this result (moving note heads over, hiding flags and rests in voices, etc.), but I'm not able to get rid of these stems that go above the flag. Does anyone know of an easier way to do this? I was trying to upload a pic but it's not taking a .bmp. It is a string of 16th note chords on one staff including these specific notes: G4, A4, E5, E5 (played on D, G, B and E strings).

Thanks for any help you can give,
g

Could you drag the end of the sticking-up stems to the bottom of the beam? if you click the top of the stem you should get a little square 'handle' that you can drag up or down. You may want to zoom in to see properly.

Bit of a fudge, but it's hard to tell from that picture exactly what's going on here in terms of voices and what you've moved around and so on. Probably best to post/send your score to someone (I don't have Ultimate), or as has been mentioned to ask on the 'official' Sibelius forum:

How about putting it in in TAB and then copying it onto a staff? Does that help any?
