SOLVED: Opened File looks strange

Hello everyone!

I'm new to Sibelius and I just need it to open and read some files I sometimes get so I decided to start using Sibelius First.
The files open correctly but all notes and entries are not shown properly: I only get squares instead of noteheads, rests, ... (screenshot)

Does anyone know what to do?

Thanks!

This is a font issue. You don't normally see it on Windows. Have you restarted your machine since you installed Sib? Did you install the full productr - ie not an update? What was the file prepared in originally - ie, is it an import from musicxml or a PhotoScore Scan?

Please email it to me (address in my signature) so I can take a look at the file on my own windows system.

If the file comes from someone else, did they use non standard fonts, ie not the ones that Sibelius ships with, and that you therefore don't have installed on your computer?

Might be (yet) another limitation of Sibelius First, which is so stripped down that it's almost useless.

Thanks for your help! This is really a limitation of Sibelius First and a font-issue as well:

I've started Sibelius in full mode (30 days testing) and now a window pops up telling
all the fonts of the file are missing. Now I can search for the missing fonts or just exchange them. :D

Thanks again!
