How to record external Synthesizer while using sequencer

Sibelius beginners can discuss all things Sibelius here ("how do I...?").

Hi,
I connected my Kurzweil PC3K8 to my Windows PC with Sibelius First.
Sibelius detects Kurzweil and I can record live while playing keyboard.
Ideally I want to record music into buil-in sequencer in Kurzweil and then play it and record in Sibelius.
But this does not work.
If I play song it seems it does not transmit midi and Sibelius does not record.
It only works when I play on keyboard live.
I wonder if this is a well known issue and how can I fix this?
Otherwise I can export my song into midi and then open in Sibelius.

Regards
Alex

AFAIK, most keyboards like this do not transmit recorded songs through the midi channels directly into Sibelius. If you can export the song to a MIDI file and then transfer that to your computer, then Sibelius will readily read the MIDI file.
