Can't change instrument name

Hi all, I'm trying to change instrument name in Sibelius First and am having no luck.

I've tried:
- double clicking on the instrument name - it just highlights purple and I can't edit it
- Right click brings up a dialogue box of options but none are to change the name
- tried restarting Sibelius and my laptop, no joy

Any help would be so gratefully received!

Sibelius First is full of restrictions. Not 100% sure that renaming instruments is one, but it would hardly be a surprise. For fewer restrictions you'll have to pay to upgrade, the other (paid) tiers these days I believe are Sibelius Artist and Ultimate. Either that or try a less (or un-) restricted program like MuseScore which is also free.
