Using NotePerformer with Sibelius Artist

Hello, is it possible to use NotePerformer with Artist? I have both installed and have selected NotePerformer as the default - however Instruments (on the Ribbon) is not giving me the option to view the list of Noteperformer instruments (ie there is no little triangle to the right of Instruments to click on that should lead to the choice of instruments). Thanks for any help

AFAIK, you can't use external instruments with Artist. On the Play tab, do you have a Configuration button? This is normally where you would assign vst soundsets for sibelius to use. If you haven't, then no you can't use NP.

Thanks - yes I have configuration and have assigned NotePerformer. But I can't find where the full list of instruments in NotePerformer are.....

Have you tried the np manual? If you want to use specific instruments, you should just be able to insert a staff for that instrument into the score and it will use the correct sound automatically.
