Note spacing

No way, by a simple command, to increase the distance of the first note of a bar from the barline? Why is it always so close? Especially notes with accidentals following a key signature, but also notes without accidentals...

Don't know which version you're using, but In Sibelius 7 you can change the space at the start of each bar by going to Appearance > Note Spacing Rule > Minimum Space > After start of bar > [Enter a number, e.g. 5] spaces > OK

You can then apply the new spacing by selecting all and Reset Note Spacing.

Not sure why your notes are so close to the bar line, the default spacing seems generous enough. Perhaps you could post a pic?
