Within the last week, markings showing vertical layout measurements have appeared throughout the score I'm working on: e.g. "10.9" in the margin, with arrows pointing above and below it to cover that space. Every vertical distance is marked that way in the left and right margins -- but also within a measure, if something has happened to change the overall distance.

I have never seen these before in all my years of working with Sibelius. I don't know what I did to make them appear, and I don't know how to make them disappear. I tried unchecking "Layout Marks" under View, but that made no difference. I have Googled, and searched the manual, but I am probably handicapped by not knowing the exact name of these half-visible markings. Can anybody help me make these disappear?

You have accidentally turned on View-->Staff rulers. Go to the view tab and you'll find them there.

Thank you!! Staff rulers -- I knew there was a simple term I didn't know how to search for. I must have hit a complicated combination of keys-with-R for those. Terrific.
