Hallo Administrators!

As I wrote previously, there are some problem with two scores in one stave: - in the upper score a dotted half, in lower one a quarter - these are in one!
- if in both scores is a dotted quarter - it will two dots!
I attach the notation picture.

Alter the X value (in the Properties box) of the voice 1 note so that it moves alongside the other one.

For the second bar, you can use voices 1 & 3 (flipping the stem of the voice 3 note) in order to have only one dot on the note.

In this situation some publishers prefer two dots, others prefer one: it is a matter of choice rather than right or wrong.

Hope that helps

Thanks Jeremy, it works.
Thanks andyg, this is any solving, but I wonder, why Sibelius can't write it properly. This situation happens repeatedly...

For Jeremy:
but it doesn't make always two dots, I think it is rather an error...

Unlike your other problem, which is a known and long-standing bug, this is not a bug. But what we call it doesn't particularly matter: Sibelius has always behaved this way, and you have a relatively easy workaround to change the two dots into one.

Excuse me, I don't want more to dispute, but the work with 1 & 3 voice isn't the solving: stems of both voice are in one direction, I need to change all of stems in lower voice with X button...
If I write so just some bar where occurs this situation, I can't write simply the text under the sounds...
They are much more time and annoyance.
I my opinion it should be repair this problem, or to choice: one or two dots makes.
Otherweise Sibelius makes one dot in space, and two dots in line! It isn't normal!
Thank you for your attention.

I did mention that you would have to flip the stem of the voice 3 note. If that is too onerous, you could make the voice 2 note into a non-dotted note and hide the rest.

Why don't you post your concerns on the official tech support forum at sibelius.com? The Senior Product Manager, Daniel Spreadbury, reads every post there, and responds to most.
