I have Sibelius 5 (EDU). The terms say I can install it on 2 machines, which suits the desktop/laptop scheme fine (haven't gone ahead w/ the second install yet).

However, on the desktop home machine, I run a multi-boot system since I'm operating a smooth transition from XP to Windows 7. So far, Sibelius is only on the XP partition.

I wonder: if I install it on the new windows partition as well, will that use up my second license chunk, or will there be no new activation since Sibelius is still seeing the same hardware it is already activated on, over on the XP partition?

thanks,
delgado

thanks,
so just to be sure I got this right: you are running sib6 on 2 different partitions of the same machine PLUS a laptop, all on one license?

not to belabour the issue, but surely you had to activate sibelius on both installations?

and my actual question is, would you be able to install one more instance on another computer with the "allowance" Sibelius is offering on one single license?

thanks again,
delgado
