elided syllables

I was sent an opera score to edit. I have version 4.1; I don't know the version used to create the score. Wherever the lyrics have elided syllables, they are separated by a box, instead of by an underline. Is this a problem between different versions, or can it be easily corrected with a font change at my end?

Check that you have 'Music text font' set to 'Opus Text' in House Style > Edit All Fonts.

You'll need to manually change the font for that square box character to Opus Text, then (although for 99% of fonts that character would show as an underscore _ anyway).
