no sound

Suddenly (after a 2 month hiatus) Sibelius 6 (as well as 5 and 4) does not play back sound from any score. The intro when starting Sib 6 sounds OK. File Open works well, score appears but Playback (while the green line moves as it suppose to) does not produce sound.

Other sounds (for example Internet) are OK. Player apps, like QuickTime, ATI, Windows etc work fine. Windows Volume Control set properly (in Player Window all sliders are set max). So the sound system in the PC seems OK.

In Sib 6 Play-Playback Devices Config: Sibelius Sounds, Active Devices Sibelius Player, Sound Set: Essentials. Clicking on Test Button,: no sound.
Changing to Kontakt Player 2 in Available Devices and activating it, in Available Devices KP2 is there, sound set is Garritan Personal Orchestra. KP2 loads sound, but clicking on Test button still no sound.
Checking Mixer Window, it seems OK.

Windows XP Home; two soundboards: Creative Sb Live! Value (WDM) and M Audio Delta Audiophile (same as 2496) Is there an interference between them? There was none before.

Drives C: 75 GB (used for system and apps) and D: 152 GB (used for data). Two CD ROMS: Samsung SC-148C and Sony DVD RW DRU-180A. Display: All In Wonder 9600 series
