I have an old-style music that I am trying to put in sibelius. How can I make the all barlines invisible without going through each one and doing it manually?

Also, is there a way to make it so a piece is totally lacking a time signature?

You can make a long time signature (say 24/4) and then use Plugins > Composing tools > Draw Free Rhythm Barline to chop into lengths of whatever size you need. Any remaining Time Signatures can be hidden or deleted. The only real restriction on bar-less music done this way is that you have to come to the end of a line or page from time to time. (Sibelius needs a new bar to make a new system or new page.)

Hopefully you can select points to introduce a new bar where you won't need to use ties. However, there are ways around that too, so ask again if you need to.
