Hi,
I'm scoring an SATB choral piece in several movements. The first short movement has a solo soprano part (so the full score has Solo S, S, A, T, and B), which is then not used for the rest of the score. How do I get ride of the solo soprano line at the top and change the score to normal SATB for the next movement?

Hi
Select the solo soprano staff for the passage where you want it to disappear, and choose Layout>Hide Empty Staves...
The staff will disappear, presuming you have no music in it and no staff objects (text etc.) attached to it.
Hope that helps
