Converting Piano Performances

Anybody know how to deal with those short notes you get when using a sustain pedal = the notation should show the full value notes and not a bunch of short notes with hundreds of pedal markers all over the chart...

I would like to have the notes show up like a real piano part (meaning their note length values need to be converted somehow...)
