Hi,
I have found a possible solution to the problem of hidden notes spacing, unless in part. If you want to enter a hidden playback part, you can minimize its spacing selecting the notes (only the hidden layer), and then press Ctrl-Alt-Shift + Left arrow (to minimize) or Right arrow to enlarge the spacing. It works very good for me and can be also useful to manage spacing in other situations...
So if you have a hidden gliss. in layer 2, select all the hidden notes between the unhidden notes of layer 1(be careful not to select the unhidden notes of layer 1), and press Ctrl-Alt-Shift + Left arrow.
I hope this helps,
Xavier.

Hi,
Still a better way to control the spacing of the hidden notes is:
1) Select first note of the group of notes you want to compress.
2) Shift-select the last note of the group, and drag to control the spacing of the whole selection.
The previous post method makes jumps in the spacing that may be too large. This second way cotrols spacing in a smooth manner.
