Hi!

I'm just wondering if there is an option that changes only note or notehead size? Like there is option that define grace note size.

I think you're looking for the feature that toggles selected notes between standard size and cue size. You'll find it on the 2nd layout (F9) in the Keypad as the Enter key.

For more info, you could have a look at section 2.10 in the Sibelius Reference.
Cheers...

Thanks for the reply!

But now I think that Sibelius doesn't have "all score note size" or something like that.

And about those layers - I couldn't find it in 2.10 - in my Sibelius 6 Ref it's about Chords.

And thanks one again!

Well, now I've learned something too. It seems that the Sibelius Reference was re-organized between versions 5 and 6 of the software.

You'll have noticed from my sig block that I'm currently using Sib 5. In that version of the Reference, section 2.10 is entitled "Cues". You could search for that heading. And you should find that normal/cue size is a toggle -- cue size will remain in effect until you turn it off. And as you know, the size of cue notes is adjustable.

I've been told that Sib 6 does layers; Sib 5 doesn't. But "layers" was not what I was referring to. Keypad layouts was the feature I was referring to. Maybe Sib 6 is different, but I hope not; I've only just gotten comfortable with the 5 keypad layouts available for note entry.

But your topic was notehead size. Sib 5 offers a smaller notehead in No. 10 of the Properties -> Notes menu. Presumably Sib 6 offers the same or better. If you need to set the smaller notehead as your default for the score you're working on, perhaps you can do that through the House Style -> Edit Noteheads menu. But I haven't used that feature, so I don't really know how it works.

Someone more familiar with the relevant options should take it from here. I'm out of my depth.
Cheers...

In Sibelius 8, the way to switch between regular notes and the larger "Cue Notes" is to highlight the measures or specific notes you want to affect, then open Inspector and in the General=>Visibility window you'll see a [ ] Cue-Sized check box. Just click it to change to cue-sized notes

You can specifically alter the notehead size by altering the size of the font used for the notehead symbols. This would be a global setting and affect anything that takes its glyphs from the same collection (common symbols?) as the noteheads.

Bring up the zymbols (z) click [music font] change the font size to whatever you want. A word of caution - this may affect things you don't want to affect!
