Love this software, but I notice that when I first open Sibelius 6.2, it's veeerrryyy slow. But, as I use it, it speeds ups and performs quite quickly. I assume that's because of some sort of cache working. The more I use "things", the easier Sibby has in "finding" them again. Fine, but is it possible to speed it up in the beginning by avoiding a download of something (I've already NOT downloaded the idea library.) Maybe this is just "the way it is," but I thought I put the question out. Would increasing my memory increase this situation by any degree? (I'm working on a 2.16 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo Mac with 1.5 GB of memory - 667 MHz DDR2 SDRAM). Thanks in advance...
