Flipping Objects - Score differences

Hi everyone,

I know this might be a stupid question but I just can't work it out! I want to flip an object such as a beam and I'm working in the part view so I press "x" to flip it but working in part view will only flip it in the part and not the score. If you flip the beam in the score it will do both. I want it to flip in both but I prefer working details in the parts because I find it easier to get a better idea of the part layout as I'm working. Is there any way I can change the settings so that I can flip an object in both score and part, while working in part view without having to switch back to the score each time?

I'm using Sibelius 6.
