Hello everyone,
hope you are all enjoying the summer! I recently purchased Sibelius, and went through the tutorials. They were not what I was hoping for. I read about a good tutorial from macprovideo.com, and decided to try it out. I have since watched three full courses of tutorials on Sibelius 7(link to page with all three listed is below). They have been enlightening to go through, and I am amazed and excited by the possibilities within Sibelius. They do require an understanding of music theory, and expect the listener to be somewhat familiar with sheet music. They go through all the different input methods as well, so if you don't play the keyboard, you will not be left behind. I recommend these tutorials to beginners and intermediate level composer's, or experts who want to get into Sibelius from another program.
