Hi Guys,

A client wants me to number his pages in the format, 2 of 7, 3 of 7, 4 of 7, etc. Does anyone know how to do this in S 6/7? Thank you.

Be Well,

Jimmy

Jimmy,
It's actually pretty cool to do. You need to use wildcards.

Say you have 7 pages, you would put this text on a repeating header "Page \$PageNum\ of 7"

Basically, if you put the text "\$PageNum\" in any text field, it will display the current page :)

It's that simple. If you need more help, refer to section 5.16 in the reference manual. Best of luck!!!

Transcriber,

Thank you for your reply. This makes sense. I will try it and hope.

Also, read deeper into that part of manual and learned some things. Thanks for the tip.

I'll let you know how it goes.

Be Well,
