Sibelius 6 Crashes after playing something?

Hey all, long time user of Sibelius.

Just got a new Mac. Transferred my data across using migration assistant, and was having problems with sibelius 6. Whenever I go to play something, it plays the first time, and will usually allow me to stop, pause etc, however on the second time I go to press play it immediately crashes! what gives?

I tried to sort it by reinstalling the software and deleting all of the files from the machine relating to sibelius, but it still does it!

Can anyone help me out as to why?

Did you restart your Mac after the reinstall?
You might also run the Repair Permissions utility.
Are you having problems with any other software?
You might look at audio options to see if there is a latancey problem.
