I use the "\$DateShort\" wildcard to mark revision dates on my scores. Worked fine in Sib 6.2.

But in Sib 7, I sometimes get the short date in the YYYY/MM/DD format (which is the short date format I want, and yes, I've set that in Win 7's short date format), and sometimes I get MM/DD/YYYY. Can anyone tell me what's going on, and what I can do to ensure the short date comes out the way I want it in my scores?

Possibly related: I have my Windows language preference set to "English (Canada), and the keyboard preference set to "US". But every now and then, the language preference resets itself to "English (Multicultural Standard). I haven't figured that one out either; Windows could be reacting to an accidental keyboard shortcut.
Cheers...
