Hello,

I have been using Sibelius First 6 since I don't know when, and have learned that it will not be compatible with any incarnation of OSX later than Mavericks (which is what I'm currently running on my MacPro).

Point is, other software issues may require updating my OS to Yosemite or later. I'm looking to update to Sibelius First 7, but want to ascertain it is compatible with Yosemite before I take the plunge?

Avid's site says 10.6.7 or later, which seems a little old, so I just want to make sure the latest OS updates won't break it.

Thanks.

El Capitan isn't recommended - still. Apple do have this habit of breaking things....

OK Microsoft originally broke ASIO with Windows 10, but they thankfully don't change things as often as Apple.

Thanks for your reply.

I'm not planning to move my studio computer to El Capitan anytime soon, but I do need to know if Sibelius First 7 will work fine with Yosemite, as that seems to be the minimum requirement for Cubase 8.5

Should be just fine, but if you want to be 100% sure, ask on the official Sibelius forum.
