I'm not a drummer but have managed to use templates to start and edit basic drum grooves. That said, I was wondering if I could get advice on adding drum fills. Are there any plug inns where I can copy and paste a fill into my score or do I have to write them from scratch. Any advice you can supply would be greatly appreciated. In fact any drum notation advice, short cuts and/or resources would be welcome. Thanks!

Seems to me that since Sibelius is not loop software, you'll have to write fills yourself. I'm sure there are drum fill tutorials on youtube that will give you some pointers.

What's more, I find the balance of the drum kits to be off. The kick drum and cymbals are not loud enough.

When I write for drum kit( and I just what playback), I load three of the same kit. I put cymbals on the one kit, snare and toms on another and kick on the third. That way I can control the volume of each.
