Hello,

I have a non-pitched percussion 1-line stave. I want to apply an instrument change to a pitched percussion instrument (say, marimba) in the middle of a system. The staff is changed to a 5-line staff, and the proper clef is added, however no key signature is added.

Does anyone know of a way to add a key signature to the instrument change?

Do I have to go through some workaround where I add a global key signature change and hide the key for all of the other instruments in the score (ugh)?

Thanks

Josh

Depending which version of sib you are using, there are two options.

I have 2018. When I have a keysign at the start of the piece, the key change is automagically inserted when I place the instrument change - even in the middle of a system.

Alternatively, you could put one in using K-->More Options and tick One staff only.
