I'm putting some of Bach's music into tablature after copying standard notation into the required number of voices.
If I simply make tablature, I get information that tablature readers would rather glean from the standard notation. All they want from the tab is string and fret and maybe when in the measure to strike the note.
So, after I merge voices, how can I keep only the first time a note appears and get rid of any and all subsequent tied notes of the same pitch?

Just deleting what you don't want doesn't work?
As you know, you can have notation on one line and tab on a line below it.

Yes it works but is laborious, error-prone, and time-consuming. Oh well. I did it, but I was hoping for some snazzy plug-in to do it for me. That's life.
