I've noticed the bass flute default is Treble clef, one octave higher in both transposing and non-transposing scores. It does not show actual sounding pitch when I unhighlight the "Transposing Score" button. How can I show sounding pitch in the non-transposing mode?

8ve transpositions tend to be a parameter of the instrument definition.

You might try creating a new bass flute based on the current one that displays the untransposed music in Bass clef.
