Guitar notation

I need some help with some specific guitar notation options. I need to be able to make a chart for chord inversions that is similar to the picture below, where the different inversions are shaded on the fretboard, and the notes and finger numbers are inside the frets. I also need to make a scale diagram that just shows one string, like the second attached picture. How can I come close to these in Sibelius? Thanks!

It's not possible to make a page that looks like your first image, within Sibelius. You can make each diagram and save them as a graphic and create the page in a word processor. Read through the manual on guitar notation. You can create a two line score, first line guitar notation, second line tab. Write the notation part, copy and paste it into the tab. You can change the fingering from there. Export as a graphic. In a picture editor (Paint will do) chop up the music as you need it. Import parts into a word processor and place as needed, along with text.
I'm a guitar player and your second image makes little sense to me. I'd rather see all six strings.

You can create a vertical Scale Diagram in Sibelius and adjust the dots, edit the Text Style "Chord Diagrams-Fingerings" to fit into the dots.
The Fretnumbers must be added into the score after words by normal text. To shift elements without letting the anchor jump between notes hold the alt-key pressed during dragging.
To make the scale diagram huge first set the overall size of chord diagrams in Engraving rules. Then use the Inspector (strg+shift+i) to scale it to about 240%.
The 4 example bars are all from one and the same system, separated by a system break. The start and end of each bar was set by dragging the start and end of each bar with the mouse. Then the space between the systems was decreased so they overlap a little bit.

1line-Scale diagrams are not possible in Sibelius. You could try to fake it by using lines and boxed text.
I created an example with LibreOffice and the powerful extension "ChordDiagrams". It can be exported as .svg or png which you can then import into Sibelius.

For creating or editing nice graphics I recommend the SVG-format and the free editor "Inkscape". SVG-files can be used in Sibelius and LibreOffice.
Attached is a Zip with the .sib-Example and the LibreOffice 1line-Scale Diagram (that was created with the LO-extension "ChordDiagrams" https://extensions.libreoffice.org/exte ... rddiagrams )
