Say you have a minim tied to a crotchet, the crotchet being the first note in a first time bar at the end of a repeat section, and you also want to tie that minim to a crotchet which is the first note in the second time bar at the end of the repeat section, how do you draw the partial tie before the crotchet (because the two tied notes are separated by the first time bars)? I hope that makes sense!

As far as I know, you still have to fake it. Use a non magnetic slur, positioned as required. It won't play back properly but will look OK.

Thanks, andyg. I suspected it might be a case of faking it but was hoping there might be a more elegant solution.

There are plugins by Bob Z that make the process easier. You can find them in the list of sib plugins or through File->plugins->Install plugins. Intelligent ties and Ties into 2nd ending.
Sib 6.2, 7.5 and 2024.3.1, Windows 11, 32GB RAM, 16TB 7200RPM Storage, 2TB SSD, Note Performer 4, EWQLSO, EWQLSC, Harmony Assistant and some others. mike@mike-lyons.co.uk
