Place time signatures manually inside the barline?

Postby patrickjstaples » Mon Oct 22, 2018 9:57 pm

Hi,

I am writing a piece that changes time signatures semi-frequently and my composition teacher wants each time signature to go inside the barline of where it begins. I can drag the time signature there, but when I save/close Sibelius and open it again, it always reverts to its original place outside the time signature. How would I get them to stay where I want them? Thanks.

HI,
I don't understand why you are dragging TSs about. Just press t, choose your poison from the dialog and then insert it into the bar. It will automatically go in the right place. In the case you describe, there's no need to use fake TSs. Use real ones. Unless there's something you aren't telling us!
