Hi,
I would like to color-code sections of my score. The highlight tool allows me only to color one instrument at time. How can I permanently highlight(yellow) the same region that I can temporally mark with the (shift) selection (blue) e.g. spanning multiple instruments?

I'm not sure why you would even want to do this, but I don't think you can.At least not this way. Highlights are meant to be used on single staves. You can colour all the notes/text/lines in a selection in later versions of ultimate.

The only other thing might be to use a graphic and use send to back.
