Hi Forum,

I am wondering how I can display the Transposition instead of instrument Name in a part. So instead of Alto sax I want there the Text "Eb" to be displayed. For piano C and for trumpet/tenorsax Bb...it is like a Chordsymbol but transposing in the other direction for the parts

thanks

Falk

You can't do this automatically, unless the instrument already has its transposition in its name.
Sib 6.2, 7.5 and 2023.6, Windows 11, 32GB RAM, 16TB 7200RPM Storage, 2TB SSD, Note Performer 3.3.2, EWQLSO, EWQLSC, Harmony Assistant and some others. mike@mike-lyons.co.uk

Maybe it can be done in the edit instruments menu?
