OK. here we go again. This time the problem is related to the playback sounds. On my score is a bass and when I play it back I'm hearing a cello. My other scores are fine. So, how do I change the cello to a bass? When I open up the mixer it does show bass on the bass fader, but I'm hearing a cello or maybe it's and arco bass. I should be hearing a regular pizzicato bass. Thanks.

You might add another bass instrument and put some notes in it to see if it is the score or the staff.

Don't understand when you say add another bass instrument. Do you mean add another staff and make it a bass instrument and see if it sounds like a bass?

Press i
Find a bass (contrabass?/Double Bass/Bass guitar - what kind of bass? - is this orchestral? jazz? Pop song?) put it into the score
Put some notes on this staff
If you want pizz. write "pizz." in technique text ([ctrl/cmd]t over the first note (without the """"). (Not necessary for bass guitar)
Neither sibelius onr any other program will be able to read your mind about whether you want the bass to play pizz. or arco. You have to tell it! (just as you would a live player).

Without providing us a score, we can't possibly guess what you are trying to do or what is going wrong.
