I keep all my scores for a work in one file: full score, vocal score, and parts. When I do this the Vocal score is one of the parts.

I have a work that was for voices and keyboard but I am now orchestrating the keyboard part. But the Vocal score was created as the "score." So, if I add the orchestral score as a part there are a lot of problems. Is there any way to swap so the full score will be the "score" and everything else parts?

That was rather hard to explain. I hope someone understands that and has an answer.

I think I might open the full score and orchestrate in that. Give score you are orchestrating a new name and save. Create a new set of folders. I'm not totally sure what you are trying to do, but I think it's all in how you name things.
