I want to move 1 measure from the top of the right page to the bottom left stave of the left page. I want to make that bottom stave on the left page 5 measures instead of 4 which it is now. How would I go about doing this? By the way, this is in the Alto sax part, not the score. Thanks.

Select the barline before the move and press [ctrl][return]
NB NOT the enter key on the numpad!)

Mike, tried what you suggested and it did nothing. I'm using a Mac. What I'm talking about is the very first measure at the top of the right page, moving that measure to the bottom of the left page so, that measure will become the last measure at the bottom of the left page.

Mike, I just figured out how to do this. To move the first measure from the top of the right page to the bottom staff of the first page, which is the left page, you highlight the entire left page and also highlight that first measure at the top of the right page then go to Layout and choose Make Into Page. That will shift the measured at the top of the right page to the bottom of the left page and that's it.

On a Mac, use [cmd] instead of [ctrl]. I also misunderstood - if you choose the barline AFTER the bar you may find it will automatically reset onto the previous page.make into page is a mixed blessing as it can often produce very cramped looking pages.
