When I type in the chord names above the staff they are too high for my liking and I always have to highlight them and pull them down closer to the staff. Is there a way of changing that off set and having the chord names appear closer to the sfaff when I type them in automatically? This would save a lot of time for me.

Either edit the text style or change the default position in Design and Position (under the Appearance tab of the ribbon).

Thanks Mike. Went to Appearance like you suggested and changed the default positions and it worked
