opening Sibelius ultimate with Sib 8

HI Folks,
I'm confused. I just opened a client's Sibelius ultimate file with my Sib 8. Looks fine.
But, Have I lost any information? Do I need to have Sib Ultimate to work with Sib ultimate files successfully?

If you managed to open the file then you have lost nothing. There might be a few layout changes, but IIRC nothing major.

I thought there had been some file format changes from 8 to 2019, but it appears not. Goto File-->Help-->About and let us know what the actual version number of sib is.
