Best way to create chord diagram

Hi, I'd like to know if there are any tips to create something simple like this kind of diagram, a chord chart. I create a no instrument staff, add bars and start writing chords. It sorta works, but I feel I'm doing too much manually. For example, the bars are never aligned vertically and I have to push them around; these repetition signs have to be dragged around until they are in a satisfactory spot, which is never perfectly centered, etc... Thanks.
