I am using the current version of Sibelius Ultimate on a Mac. Is there any way to place a fermata over the 3 bars of a two-note tremolo as shown in the attachment? I am not seeing any way to do it. Thanks for any help!

Well, after a lot of searching, I gave up on being able to get this done through what should be a feature, and came up with a kludge. I took a screen shot of a fermata and then placed that graphic over the tremolo. Doesn't play back, but looks good enough on the page.

Hope that helps someone.

Update on this... I found a much better solution. On the Notations tab, open the Symbols dropdown and find and choose the fermata symbol. This will load your cursor with it and you can then place the fermata where you need it and move it left and right or up and down.

I'm glad you found a solution.

You know, you would get much quicker responses on either the FB pages (https://www.facebook.com/groups/sibeliussoftwareforum, https://www.facebook.com/groups/323691061147132) or on the Official Avid forum (https://www.sibelius.com/cgi-bin/helpce ... &groupid=3).

This board has been practically moribund for several years and certainly does not see Avid employees any more. There're just a few die-hards like me here and I only come on it once or twice a day to see if there are any new queries.
