Hi everybody!
Anyone in here who knows how to write a chord above the staff which both contains a capital and lower case letter?
E.g. D/f# instead of D/F#
It's a common way of writing chords with a different bass note than the root in Denmark. The reason is that it's easier to read once you know that the chord itself is always a capital letter but the bass note is a lower case letter.
I'm using Sibelius 8.0.1
Back in the days when I was using an older version of SIB it was not a problem.
Best,
Rune
Capital letters and lower case letters in chords
I don't generally use chord symbols in my own work, but I understand that if you switch on Legacy chord symbols you can pretty much type in what you want.
