Hi all,

Long time Sibelius user, first time poster.

I've been using Sibelius for years to make my guitar transcriptions but even after all this time I STILL haven't been able to find a definite answer for how to do:

1) Diamonds around tab numbers to denote natural harmonics

2) Circles around numbers to denote tapped notes

I see these questions have been asked in this forum before but nobody has yet found an answer and I'm sure it must be possible? I've seen plenty of transcriptions which are clearly made in Sibelius (like those used in my examples) using these symbols so there must be a way of doing it.

I've come up with a workaround of sorts.

I made a circle and diamond symbol as graphics and imported them as into the symbols menu in Sibelius. To position them around the note properly I have to turn off magnetic layout though.

I then saved a guitar tab template so they are accessible each time I start a new score.

Not a perfect solution but hope this helps anyone else in the same situation.
